Obscura laufen die Mitglieder davon – neues Lineup, neue Band

Die deutschen Prog-Deather OBSCURA bekommen ein neues Lineup: Gitarrist Rafael Trujillo, Bassist Linus Klausenitzer und Schlagzeuger Sebastian Lanser haben einem Statement der Band auf Facebook zufolge OBSCURA aufgrund musikalischer Differenzen verlassen und eine neue Band gegründet: OBSIDIOUS.

OBSCURA-Bandleader Steffen Kummerer kündigt unterdessen bereits ein neues Lineup für OBSCURA an. Dieses soll in Kürze vorgestellt werden. Im Sommer geht es dann in die Woodshed Studios, um das sechste OBSCURA-Album aufzunehmen – das erste, das bei Nuclear Blast Records erscheinen wird.

“Firstly, I would like to thank our former members Rafael Trujillo, Linus Klausenitzer and Sebastian Lanser for their dedication during the last years. Now, 2020, a new chapter for OBSCURA begins with entering Woodshed Studios this Summer to produce our sixth full-length record, and the first album for our new label Nuclear Blast.
