Die ungarischen Punk-Rocker PADDY AND THE RATS haben die Schönheit Irlands erkannt, ihre Geigen ausgepackt und die Gitarren angesteckt. Ihr fünftes Album „Riot City Outlaws“ vereint Piratenthemen, Gypsy Punk und Polka und wird am 6. April über Napalm Records erscheinen.
Die raue und kraftvolle Produktion kommt von Grammy-Gewinner Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Megadeth, Social Distortion, Pennywise). Eingängige Refrains und dynamische Uptempo-Songs sind ebenso zu finden, wie Partyhymnen und Shanties. Abgerundet werden sie von beschwipsten Balladen und irisch beeinflussten Punk Rock.
Sänger Paddy O’Reilly kommentiert: „I think this album is the best what we have written so far and I’m really happy that we have the chance now to show this to the people as part of Napalm.
