Slipknot kündigen neue Dokumentation an

SLIPKNOT haben eine Dokumentation mit dem Titel „Days Of The Gusano“ angekündigt, die von MusicScreen präsentiert wird. Der 90-minütige Film räumt den Fans der Band, den sogenannten Maggots, eine wichtige Rolle ein. Die Premiere findet am 6. September in mehr als tausend Kinos weltweit statt. Als Regisseur tritt Shawn M. Crahan in Erscheinung, der mit den Filmaufnahmen den ersten Besuch der Band in Mexiko im Dezember 2015 dokumentiert. Die teilnehmenden Kinos und der Ticket-Vorverkauf werden im Juli bekannt gegeben.

Clown Shawn M. Crahan kommentiert: „SLIPKNOT still has dreams for itself. Finally playing Mexico was one of them. It’s been a surreal life of rock and roll for SLIPKNOT and the fact that the dreams still go on for us is simply incredible. Thank you.“ Guitarist Jim Root adds: „We had such a great time at Knotfest Mexico… Not only with all the friends and bands that were there, but with the fans and the crowd we had to document it with. Now we get to share it with the world.“
