Wolfszeit-Festival: Ohne Geist und Agrypnie

Die beiden deutschen Black Metal-Bands haben voneinander unabhängig bekanntgegeben, nicht auf dem Wolfszeit-Festival 2010 aufzutreten.
Während GEIST offensichtlich ohne Vertrag beziehungsweise ohne das Wissen der Band auf dem Flyer landeten, distanzieren sich Agrypnie durch ihre Absage von der NSBM-Szene, der nach Ansicht der Band eine der bestätigten Bands nahestehen soll.

Hier die Statements der Bands:

„In contrary to whatever you have heard or read: we are NOT going to perform on Wolfszeit-Festival 2010. Were aware of the fact that posts in one or another forum say something different, and that even flyers with GEIST being confirmed have been spread without our band having signed a contract.There are a couple of reasons for this decision. One is our radical view concerning bands, labels, distributors, organizers and private persons in this specific music scene being not consequent in their mindset towards the pest of NSBM. Whatever may be the motives of these people, be it the idol of mammon or a lack of apprehension (or both?), again:
zero tolerance for such a behaviour from our side.
Another one, and probably the more positive one, is that we`re going to concentrate on composing a new album during the rest of the year and won`t be performing live then. Last chances to see GEIST performing until then: 23rd of January, Bitterfeld and 6th of February, Hamburg.“

„Grund hierfür ist der Auftritt einer umstrittenen Band. Inwieweit die politischen Vorwürfe der Wahrheit entsprechen kann ich an dieser Stelle nicht einschätzen. Da die Band allerdings mindestens ein Album über ein sehr einschlägiges Label veröffentlicht hat, ist dies für mich Grund genug unseren Auftritt abzusagen.“
