We proudly present to you the music video for „Ammon’s Eclipse“, the first single of our upcoming second album „Vas Hermeticum“!

Choosing a single isn’t always easy. Usually bands go for a song that either represents the whole album or a song that is easily accessible. Since our album is very diverse and there’s not really a song on it, which sums up all elements and the style of the album, we chose to take the opposite path: We selected our probably most unusual song first. “Ammon’s Eclipse” is a tragic ballad and duet about the fictional creation of a superior being that surpasses its creator and humanity as the next step of evolution. The lyrics are inspired by the short story “Formuła Lymphatera” by Polish science fiction author Stanisław Lem.
It is our first song that features clean guest vocals, which are contributed by our talented friend and singer Isabella Niedermeier. Aditionally, the song’s string section was recorded by Benedikt Holnaicher (violas) and Haggard live musician Florinda Hoffmann (cellos).
The music video was shot at our gig at Zestival VI in Munich earlier this year, where Isabella and Benedikt joined us live on stage to sing and play their parts.
