The Man-Eating Tree minus eins

Die finnische Metal-Band THE MAN EATING-TREE hat gestern bekannt gegeben, dass sie sich von ihrem Sänger Tuomas Tuominen getrennt hat. Die Entscheidung sei aus mehreren Gründen getroffen worden und gefährde nicht das Bestehen der Band.

Hier das Statement der Band in voller Länge:
“Unfortunately, we have to inform that Tuomas does not continue any longer in our band as a vocalist. Various musical and also non-musical aspects led us to this conclusion. There is no bigger drama or so in our side and we don’t want to discuss further about the reasons behind the decision, so please don’t send us any questions concerning the issue.
Quitting the band was not an option in any case and we will return with a new singer when the time is right. Now it is time to gather some energy and even if the new material has been already written and practiced, the new album is not coming out in the near future.“We would like to thank Tuomas from unforgettable times and great work without forgetting the kilometers of joy and tears we shared together. We wish you all the best in your life!“
