Selim Lemouchi (The Devil’s Blood) verstorben

Bislang fehlt jede offizielle Bestätigung, weshalb die Meldung noch als Gerücht gehandelt werden muss – dennoch gibt es vermehrte Hinweise darauf, dass der Bandleader der mittlerweile aufgelösten THE DEVIL’S BLOOD verstorben ist.

Auslöser der Gerüchtewelle, die mittlerweile durch das Internet rollt, war ein Facebook-Post von Primordial-Fronter Alan Averill, der auf seiner privaten Facebook-Seite folgenden Kommentar gepostet haben soll:
„Just heard some sad and devastating news….a force of nature has left this mortal coil. Hope u find some peace on another plane Selim….“

Mittlerweile haben sich auch Urfaust zu Wort gemeldet und neben einem TDB-Song dieses knappe Statement gepostet:
„Safe travels Brother! RIP“

Ghost kommentieren ebenfalls:
„Children of the World! We want to pay homage to our friend Selim Lemouchi (The Devil’s Blood and his own Selim Lemouchi & His Enemies) who has passed away and left the world one great talent poorer. R.I.P.“

Aktualisierung:

Wie das niederländische Magazin 3voor12 berichtet, hat Bidi van Drongelen, langjährige Managerin von THE DEVIL’S BLOOD, die Gerüchte über den Tod von Selim Lemouchi, Bandleader der mittlerweile aufgelösten THE DEVIL’S BLOOD, mittlerweile bestätigt. Über die Todesursache gibt es unterdessen noch keine weiteren Angaben.

Selim hatte zuletzt mit einigen kryptischen Facebook-Posts auf seiner Seite für Verwirrung gesorgt:

„It takes bravery. The deepest bullets are not to be feared; phosphorous napalm or nothing to be feared, but to look inward to see that twisted mind that lies beneath the surface of all humans and to say yes I accept you, I even love you because you are a part of me, you are an extension of me…“ (19.02.14, 10:15)
