Unterdessen hat sich allerdings auch Barnes wieder zu Wort gemeldet und die ursprünglich von BlabberMouth verbreitete Geschichte nochmals kommentiert. Er habe sich unter selbstgewählte Quarantäne gesetzt, da er zuvor in einem Risikogebiet war, um das neue SIX-FEET-UNTER-Album aufzunehmen:
