Fjoergyn: Drummer steigt aus, keine Shows 2024

Die thüringische Avantgarde-Black-Metal-Band FJOERGYN wird dieses Jahr keine Shows spielen und steht vor einer ungewissen Zukunft. Grund dafür ist, dass Drummer Martin die Band nach 18 Jahren verlassen hat.

Hier findet ihr das Statement im Original:

„Dear reader,
Unfortunately, we have to start the new year with difficult news. After 18 years, our drummer is laying down the sticks to pursue new projects. As a result, we have to cancel all upcoming concerts for the year 2024. I cannot currently say to what extent FJOERGYN will continue making music, as I don’t want to dissolve a band today only to resurrect it as a reunion in four years.
The current music landscape has changed so much that I am unsure if I can still make an essential contribution with FJOERGYN. Martin, the band, and I had the privilege of sharing the stage with our childhood heroes, meeting wonderful people, and forming special friendships. We had an amazing time! Let’s see what the future holds!
